Aurotoshi Platform Screen Doors (PSDs) are designed to enhance commuter safety and operational efficiency across metro and rail transit systems. Engineered to manage increasing passenger volumes in modern cities, these automatic doors create a secure barrier between the platform and train — preventing track intrusions and ensuring safe boarding, especially in driverless metro applications. 

 

In addition to maximizing safety, PSDs also contribute to energy conservation by maintaining air-conditioning efficiency and improving hygiene and comfort within station environments.

Opening speed depends on the variant. The Anti-Crash model achieves 3 m/s — one of the fastest in its class. The Supreme Roll-Up runs at 2.5 m/s, and the Rapid Zipper and Supreme Plus at 2.0-2.5 m/s. Closing speed is typically 0.5-1.0 m/s for safety compliance.
The Rapid Zipper variant is specifically designed for GMP compliance — Schedule M under Drugs & Cosmetics Act. It features a non-particle-generating PVC curtain, SS 304 frame option, and auto-close on radar. We provide service records in the format required for regulatory audits.
The Anti-Crash and Rapid Zipper variants are self-repairable. When a forklift impacts the curtain, it detaches from the guide rails automatically — there is no structural damage. The curtain re-inserts itself when the door next opens. No technician needed, no downtime.
Maximum clear widths range from 6,000mm (Rapid Zipper) to 12,000mm (Supreme Plus Fold-Up). Heights up to 7,000mm. Exact maximum dimensions depend on the variant. For non-standard openings, engineering review is required — our Ghaziabad team can spec bespoke sizes.
Standard sizes: 4-6 weeks from order confirmation. Custom dimensions: 6-8 weeks. Doors are manufactured at our Ghaziabad facility. Installation team covers Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. Site survey typically within 3 working days of enquiry.
